Thank you for using www.baileyofsheffield.com (the “site”).  These terms and conditions govern your use of the site and purchase of goods (“items”) and services from the site. You will also find information on orders and returns, your privacy and security on other pages of the site and these pages shall be incorporated into these terms and conditions. If you have any questions, please contact us by emailing hello@baileyofsheffield.com.  In these terms and conditions, "we", "us", "our" means Bailey of Sheffield.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the site. By accessing the site and/or placing an order, you signify your agreement to be bound by these conditions and you consent to us using your information in accordance with our privacy policy . If you do not accept these terms, do not use the site.

By placing an order with www.baileyofsheffield.com you are agreeing to receive email newsletters from Bailey of Sheffield. We will not share your data with any 3rd parties. If you wish to be removed from our mailing list at any point simply click on the unsubscribe link provided on any email.

Returns

Complete satisfaction promise

Bailey of Sheffield has as its priority your total satisfaction with our items and services. In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase, you have the right to cancel your order with us.  To do this, please notify us within 30 days of receiving the item by either writing to Customer Care, Bailey of Sheffield, Portland Works, Randall Street, Sheffield, S2 4SJ or by e-mailing us at hello@baileyofsheffield.com.

You will need to return your item to us within 30 days of delivery, with its original packaging and proof of purchase, dispatch note or gift certificate and we will be happy to either exchange the item or refund the price paid.  You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the items when they are in your possession.

Regrettably, items engraved or personalised cannot be refunded or exchanged.

If you request a refund we will refund you the price you paid for the items. However, please note we are permitted by law to reduce your refund to reflect any reduction in the value of the items, if this has been caused by your mis-handling of them.

We highly recommend that you send your order back to us via Royal Mail's special delivery service (UK only) for security purposes. We cannot accept responsibility for items sent by you and lost in transit. For all returns, except where the item is defective, damaged or dispatched in error by us, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the items to us.

A prompt refund of the price of the items will be issued once all the information referred to above is received, and in any event not later than 14 days after we receive the items from you. The credit card used for the original purchase will be credited with the original price. If you used vouchers to pay for the item we may refund you in vouchers. If there are any problems with your refund, a member of our team will contact you.

Customers are legally entitled to cancel an order at any time up to 30 days after receipt of the item and to return it for a full refund.

This returns policy does not apply to defective or damaged items or items sent to you in error, which are dealt with separately in the "Defective and damaged items" section below.

Cancellations and exchanges

If you want to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. If the items have already been hand finished and shipped it may not be possible to stop your order so please follow the instructions for 'Returns' in those instances.  Please follow these instructions for exchanges as well.

If we are providing bespoke engraving you cannot cancel your order if we have already started the work. This does not apply to repairs you have instructed us to carry out to defective or damaged items.

Defective and damaged items

Should you receive an item you have ordered that is defective, damaged or not what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible.  You must return any defective, damaged or incorrect item to us within 30 days of receiving the item. You may then choose to receive a replacement item, repair, exchange for an alternative item or refund. Please contact us if you require any help, we are more than happy to assist you resolve any issues as quickly as possible.

Where the item is defective, damaged or dispatched in error by us, we will refund the price of the item in full.

Warranty

All Bailey of Sheffield items are warranted by us for a period of 12 months from the original date of purchase under the terms of this warranty. The warranty covers manufacturing defects only. You will need to provide proof of purchase of the item.

In addition to your other rights under these terms, we will repair your item free of charge during the warranty period.

If we cannot repair your item we will offer you an exchange of the item or a refund.  We may provide a full or partial refund to reflect any use you have made of the item.

Your warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, misuse, accidents or normal wear and tear.

Bespoke engraving service

We offer laser engraving on specific items. Please allow additional working days for this service, excluding delivery.

Our items are manufactured and hand assembled to a very high quality.  However, should you require it, we offer a repairs service.  In addition to your other rights under these terms, we will repair your item free of charge during the warranty period. You will need to provide proof of purchase.

We repair only items made by Bailey of Sheffield. Please send your item via an insured method, directly to: Bailey of Sheffield, Portland Works, Randall Street, Sheffield, S2 4SJ. Please provide contact information and a detailed description of what is wrong with the item.

We highly recommend that you send your order back to us via Royal Mail's special delivery service (UK only) for security purposes. We cannot accept responsibility for items sent by you and lost in transit. For all repairs, except where the item is defective, damaged or dispatched in error by us, you will be required to arrange and pay for the postage of the items to us.

We only offer our engraving and repairs services for items that you purchase from us.

Delivery and customs

Please see our "delivery" page for information on timings and costs of delivery.  We will use our reasonable endeavours to deliver the items or services within the times indicated. However, where delivery times and dates are given, they are for general guidance only and we will not be held liable for late delivery of items caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We shall attempt to deliver the items to the address you specify for delivery. You are responsible for making arrangements to receive the items and if the items are held at the post office or other delivery company's depot because no one was available when the items were delivered then it is your responsibility to swiftly collect the items. It is important that the addresses supplied by you to us are accurate.

Please note that we are currently not able to deliver to P.O. Boxes.

It may not be possible for us to deliver to some countries, if an order is received with a delivery address outside of any areas we can cover, you will be contacted by our team.

**Please note that any duty and/or administration charges incurred by your parcel being delivered overseas will need to be settled by you as Bailey of Sheffield will not be held liable for these.

We accept VISA, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro and American Express (Amex).

Please don't try to send orders via email, as we cannot guarantee any secure transmission of details and will not be able to process your order.

Disclaimer and liability

We reserve the right to change, modify, substitute or remove without notice any information on the site from time to time.  We will endeavour to ensure that all descriptions and illustrations of the items on the site or otherwise provided to you by us are accurate but there may be slight variations due to print and publishing limitations.  Bailey of Sheffield work to keep the site up to date but cannot guarantee that this site and its contents are completely free of technical errors, viruses or anything else that may have a harmful effect on any technology.  We will endeavour to allow uninterrupted access to the site but access may be suspended, restricted or terminated at any time.  By using this site, you acknowledge that you assume full responsibility for all costs associated with all necessary servicing or repairs of any equipment you use in connection with this site.

In no event shall we be liable for any indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of profit (whether direct or indirect), data, revenue, business opportunity, anticipated savings, goodwill or reputation whether in contract, tort or otherwise arising out of or in connection with the terms and conditions or use of the site save where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

You must use the site for lawful purposes only.  If we allow you to register with us you are fully responsible and liable for all access made to the site using any password or username that you register with us.  You should keep such passwords and usernames confidential at all times.

These terms and conditions do not affect your legal rights as a consumer.

Bailey of Sheffield cannot be held liable for any item that has been repaired or modified by a third party.

Customer responsibility

Bailey of Sheffield cannot guarantee that the sale and delivery of its items to your particular country or location is permissible, so please be aware of your own geographic import restrictions.

This site and its contents will not constitute the basis for any contractual commitment between Bailey of Sheffield and any prospective customer in any jurisdiction in which the solicitation of interest or the offering of or sale of items by Bailey of Sheffield would contravene any applicable local, regional or national legislation. No prospective customer should seek to make any order through the site from jurisdictions in which it would be illegal for Bailey of Sheffield to sell items.

Legal governance

Your use of this site and any contract between you and Bailey of Sheffield for the sale of items shall be governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales. If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these terms and conditions and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining provisions. If we fail to enforce a right under these terms and conditions, that failure will not prevent us from enforcing other rights, or the same type of right on a later occasion.

Unless otherwise stated in these terms and conditions, no part of these terms and conditions are enforceable by anyone who is not a party to them, pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

Copyright and other rights

All materials, including images, illustrations, designs, site layout, photographs, written and other text or script that are part of this site together with all software compilations, underlying source code and software in the site are protected by copyright, trade mark, design right, and/or other worldwide intellectual property rights and are owned or controlled by or licensed to Bailey of Sheffield.  All rights are reserved.

The contents of the site and the site as a whole are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. You may download or make a single copy of the contents and other downloadable materials displayed on the site for the sole purpose of placing an order with Bailey of Sheffield or using the site as a shopping resource. No right, title or interest in any downloaded materials or software is transferred to you as a result of any such downloading or copying. You may not reproduce (except as noted above), publish, transmit, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, sell or participate in any sale of, or exploit in any way, in whole or in part, any of the contents, the site, or any related software without our express prior written permission.

The person you send the referral link to will receive a 10% discount code once they sign up and create their own account. When they use this discount code on a purchase, you will receive a 10% discount code to use on your own purchase. Easy, it's money off for doing nothing!

The person you are sending the referral link to can't have an account already.

You will only receive your own 10% discount after your referral completes their purchase.

WHEN YOU RECEIVE A REFERRAL

You will need to set-up an Account on the Bailey website, click below to complete this process. Your 10% discount code will then we added to your account to be used on your first purchase.

You can only use one discount per order. If you have ten discount codes you will have to place ten different orders to use them all. Each code will last for three months from the date it was issue.
