Bailey of Sheffield shortlisted as Brand to Watch at UK Jewellery Awards

Jewellery designers Bailey of Sheffield continue a remarkable rise, today announcing being shortlisted as finalists in the Brand to Watch category at the Retail Jeweller UK Jewellery Awards 2018.

The award will be presented to the brand that has demonstrated the most significant growth since launch.

Bailey of Sheffield design, manufacture and hand-build enduring designer jewellery from the highest quality marine grade 316L stainless steel in our workshop at Portland Works; recognised as the birthplace of stainless steel. The initial CABLE™ modular bracelet and beads collection was launched on Kickstarter in 2016 and proved extremely popular, achieving over 163% of our funding goal.

Since then we have continued to grow and develop the range by introducing beautiful new products, expanding colour options (utilising a Physical Vapor Deposition process primarily used in aerospace and Formula 1) and even releasing innovative stainless steel 3D-printed beads.

At the core of Bailey’s philosophy is the ability for the wearer to curate your own style, allowing full customisation of the bracelets to mix-and-match colour components, add-and-remove beads and even the opportunity to convert a bead into a stunning pendant on a stainless steel necklace chain.

The announcement as a finalist for the prestigious Retail Jeweller UK Jewellery Awards follows industry recognition in 2017 where Bailey of Sheffield were judged as Runner-Up in the Best Collection category at The Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ) Show at the Metropole in Birmingham.

Of this latest nomination company founder Scott Bailey said, “We are absolutely ecstatic to be recognised by the biggest jewellery awards in the UK.

“Just to be short listed as a finalist is amazing. It’s great to see all the hard work we have put into launching and subsequently growing the brand to where it is today being recognised by the industry.”

Ellie Pringle from Retail Jeweller added, “This year the quality of entries was bigger and better than ever so being shortlisted is a fantastic achievement, huge congratulations!”

The Retail Jeweller UK Jewellery Awards are to be held at the Artillery Garden in London on Wednesday 4th July 2018.
